AARON PANESAR

Analyst
Aaron works across trade lifecycle activities, transaction reconciliation and financial reporting. He collaborates closely with internal teams to support control checks, maintain data accuracy and improve operational processes. Aaron holds a First-Class degree in Computer Science from Kingston University, London, and has strong technical experience in Python, Structured Query Language (SQL), Excel and Power BI. Prior to joining Levantor, he worked as a Data Analyst at Bonafide Design, where he developed reporting dashboards and analysed large datasets to support business performance and decision-making. His combination of analytical and operational skills supports Levantor’s data-driven approach to transaction management and reporting.
ADRIAN SPURLING

Funding Manager
Adrian has over 30 years’ experience across law and finance, with deep expertise in structured finance, securitisation and trade finance. He has worked extensively on complex transactions globally, applying a combination of legal and finance insight to successfully close deals in challenging environments. Before joining Levantor, Adrian spent nearly 20 years at GE Capital as Managing Director, following senior roles at Bank One Corporation, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and ING Barings. Earlier in his career, he trained and practised as a lawyer at Freshfields, building a strong legal foundation that continues to inform his commercial and transactional approach. Adrian brings this breadth of experience to Levantor as a consultant Project Manager, where he leads strategic initiatives to support business growth.
ALEX DAW

Managing Director
Alex has over two decades of banking and corporate finance experience, specialising in credit, portfolio management and corporate and investment banking solutions for global clients. He began his career at The Royal Bank of Scotland, where he spent more than ten years in senior roles including Head of Transaction Portfolio Management for the Telecom, Media & Technology sector. He later joined Mizuho in New York, progressing to Managing Director for North American Banking, before returning to London to take up his current role at Levantor. His expertise spans corporate and investment banking, cross-border financing, and developing long-term client relationships. Alex studied at the University of Leicester.
ALMA KADIC

Head of Revenue Capture, Operations & Finance
Alma oversees the operational and financial infrastructure underpinning more than US$30 billion of working capital transactions. Since joining the business in 2018, she has played a central role in scaling and managing the processes, controls and client coordination required to support Levantor’s transaction platform. Her responsibilities include operational oversight, revenue capture, company financial reporting, payables management and tax reporting, alongside day-to-day coordination with clients and counterparties across time-sensitive transactions. Alma holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Surrey and combines strong analytical, operational and organisational expertise with extensive experience managing complex financial workflows at scale.
CARL SEERUTHUN

Senior Analyst
Carl is responsible for operational processes, data management and transaction coordination. His work includes maintaining accurate records, managing workflows efficiently and helping ensure smooth execution across the business. With experience spanning operations, client coordination and workflow management, Carl brings a strong focus on process efficiency, data integrity and operational oversight in fast-paced environments. His background includes managing complex queries, coordinating time-sensitive processes and maintaining effective communication across multiple stakeholders. Carl holds a degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Portsmouth. His combination of operational experience, organisational skills and attention to detail supports Levantor’s disciplined and execution-focused approach to transaction management.
DAVID HICKS

Managing Director
David has more than 20 years’ experience supporting global manufacturers and their regional distribution partners with payables and receivables-based trade finance programs to facilitate sales growth. He has held senior global client and origination roles with Deutsche Bank, IBM Global Financing, Macquarie Bank and platform-based FinTechs including start-ups. In managing trade finance relationships with worldwide technology vendors and leading EMEA and AP distributors, David has developed a sound understanding of their sales growth, credit risk and working capital requirements and in recent years extended the focus to include a broader range of channel-based sectors.​
EDWARD TILL

Director
Edward has 20 years’ experience in all aspects of trade and supply chain finance, having worked for Citibank and HSBC between London and Warsaw. He has held a variety of senior roles, including Head of Trade Central and Eastern Europe, European and African Regional Head of Trade Product and Global Product Head of Receivables Finance. He has managed large trade credit insurance policies, managed a specialised global technology platform and established a regional asset distribution desk. He is an economics graduate from King’s College, Cambridge. He is also a Distinguished Toastmaster with Toastmasters International.
HENRY BIRRELL
Product Manager

Henry brings over 12 years of experience in working capital solutions, with a career focused on developing products that help businesses access capital and manage supply chain risk more effectively. He has held roles with Beacon Technologies, Ebury Partners, and Atradius, covering supply chain finance, trade finance, and credit insurance. In managing relationships with corporates, SMEs and other partners, he has developed a strong understanding of credit risk, operations and working capital requirements. In recent years, he has extended this focus to embedded finance and technology-driven solutions that enable businesses to grow with confidence. Henry holds a BA from the University of Leeds.
LIANA GABOR

Head of Legal
Liana began her career at magic circle law firm Linklaters LLP before moving into the banking sector, gaining 15 years of experience at various financial institutions including Barclays, Coutts, RBS/NatWest and most recently in her role at Bank of America, where she spent five years as a Senior Director across Trade Finance Legal and Product Management within the Global Transaction Services Team. While specialising in Trade, Supply Chain and Export Credit Agency Finance, Liana’s expertise includes general banking, lending and regulatory work. Liana has led a multitude of cross border banking projects involving regulatory changes and trade innovation mainly involving digital trade instruments. Liana holds an MA from Oxford University, St Anne’s College and is legally qualified in England & Wales. Liana is fluent in Romanian, as well as advanced proficiency in Italian, Spanish and French. Liana is a qualified sommelier holding an Advanced Level 3 Qualification from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust.
MONIKA TWARDOWSKA

Analyst
Monika supports the execution of global working capital and sales finance transactions at Levantor. She plays a key role in managing transaction critical paths, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring timely delivery across complex financing processes. Prior to joining Levantor, she was a Senior Compliance Officer at AIR, overseeing high-volume documentation, regulatory processes and operational administration. Her experience across compliance and operations has given her a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency and problem resolution in fast-paced environments. Monika is recognised for her proactive approach to delivering the seamless execution and client service that underpin Levantor’s scalable financing platform.
MOUHAMMED AININE

Business Analyst
Mouhammed brings experience in financial and data analysis, having worked at CELSA Group, where he delivered insights to support strategic decision-making and operational performance. At Levantor, he supports the Head of Product and wider team across the prospecting, closing, and management of sales finance programmes, with responsibilities including counterparty due diligence, financial monitoring, and reporting. Skilled in Python, SQL, Power BI, and Excel, Mouhammed combines strong technical expertise with analytical problem-solving to deliver practical, data-driven solutions. Mouhammed holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Lancaster University.
NIGEL BOTTRILL

Director
Nigel has over 25 years’ experience working within banking, specialising in trade and customer sales finance. He is a seasoned veteran, having started his career in NatWest before holding a number of senior positions at Bank of Boston later Citibank, where he spent 17 years. During this time, he has been instrumental in developing a number of client facing businesses in EMEA and globally. His latest position was Global Head of Sales Finance Origination at Citi. Throughout this time, he has shown consistent understanding of client needs and developed tailor-made solutions to meet them. Nigel holds an MBA from Exeter University.
PATRICK DOYLE

Analyst
Patrick works across transaction execution, reporting and operational oversight. He is responsible for maintaining accurate records, analysing transaction data and coordinating critical paths to ensure transactions progress efficiently. Patrick holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Kent, where he developed strong analytical and financial modelling skills across corporate finance, risk management and financial reporting. He also holds the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification and has strong Excel capabilities. Alongside his analytical skillset, Patrick brings strong interpersonal and client relationship management skills, contributing to the collaborative and responsive execution approach that underpins Levantor’s transaction management processes.
RASHAD AHMED

Analyst
Rashad is responsible for data management, operational processes and transaction reporting. He plays a key role in maintaining data accuracy, and improving operational workflows and process efficiency across the business. Rashad holds a degree in Computer Science from Queen Mary University of London and has a longstanding passion for technology, software development and systems design. He has strong technical capabilities in Python, SQL and software engineering, with experience across coding, testing, database management and workflow automation. His combination of operational and technical expertise reinforces Levantor’s technology-enabled approach to transaction management, process optimisation and scalable operational infrastructure.
TOM COWLING

General Counsel
Tom is a Board Director and Chief Governance Office with Power by Britishvolt, the UK's foremost investor in battery manufacturing and technologies. Prior to Britishvolt, Tom was a Board Director and General Counsel to Ecotricity Group, the leading UK renewables energy group, were he advised on all of the business' major milestones for the group including corporate an renewable energy infrastructure funding and finance, and the development and disposal of a national electric vehicle charging network. Having started his career in investment banking, Tom brings with him extensive commercial, corporate, finance/funding and dispute resolution experience especially in highly regulated and complex sectors. He combines his in-depth knowledge and in-house experience with a pragmatic, commercial approach.
WILLIAM MCLACHLAN

Sales Associate
Will joined Levantor with 7 years of banking experience working in New Zealand’s largest bank, ANZ. Initially building his career across retail banking & specialising in residential lending, he progressed on to become a Financial Advisor for 3 years in ANZ Private Bank, working with High Net-worth Individuals, Family Trusts, Charitable Organisations, Companies and Family offices on providing Premier Wealth Management Services & tailored Financial Advice on bespoke Investment solutions. Will is a licensed advisor with the Financial Markets Authority of New Zealand and holds a Certificate in Financial Services from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand.
