Tim has enjoyed a career lasting over 25 years in the global financial services industry. He was previously Global Head of the Strategic Transactions Group at Swiss Re Capital Markets, designing and implementing complex cross-border transactions for its client base worldwide. He has also worked in senior positions in the structured finance groups at Bank of America and RBS.
He has recently been consulting with several global financial institutions on the correct regulatory capital treatment of a range of financial products, particularly in the areas of credit correlation, derivatives, real estate and trade finance. His main role has been to devise strategies for the efficient use of regulatory capital under Basel III/CRR for assets that were effectively trapped on the bank’s balance sheet.
Tim holds a degree in economics from Kingston University and is a qualified member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
Kristian has in excess of 20 years experience managing credit risk across Quote-to-Cash cycle with Global and Regional roles within Tech and Service sector at SGS, DXC and HP/HPE. He supervised different cash flow acceleration programs, including a distribution finance program with a run rate of greater than $2bn including cash. He oversaw feasibility and risk analysis, customers selection, assignment of limits (currencies, countries, customers), legal documentation, cash forecasting.
He designed global credit framework with group-level policies and scalable IT-infrastructure with automated and efficient deal approval flow enabled by 3rd party Customer Master, Global Trade Compliance and Credit Data.
Tom is a Board Director and Chief Governance Office with Power by Britishvolt, the UK's foremost investor in battery manufacturing and technologies.
Prior to Britishvolt, Tom was a Board Director and General Counsel to Ecotricity Group, the leading UK renewables energy group, were he advised on all of the business' major milestones for the group including corporate an renewable energy infrastructure funding and finance, and the development and disposal of a national electric vehicle charging network.
Having started his career in investment banking, Tom brings with him extensive commercial, corporate, finance/funding and dispute resolution experience especially in highly regulated and complex sectors. He combines his in-depth knowledge and in-house experience with a pragmatic, commercial approach.
Natalia has over 10 years' broad experience as a banking and finance lawyer, both in private practice and in-house. Natalia's expertise includes general banking, project finance, trade finance and commodities. Throughout her legal career in the UK, Natalia has worked with clients in the natural resources and commodities sectors, as well as large corporate clients in other sectors.
Her experience includes roles with Deutsche Bank and J.P. Morgan.
Natalia is qualified in England & Wales and Russia and is bilingual.
